We're a rapidly growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) with offices in New York City and Long Island, and we're looking for a Field/Systems Engineer to provide onsite and remote support for customer technology needs. You'll be responsible for implementing and supporting internal systems, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments, as well as supporting Microsoft-related technologies, virtual environments on Azure and VMware, and disaster recovery solutions. You'll also provide technical services and support for network connectivity, firewalls, and security, as well as remote access solutions like VPN and Microsoft Intune.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support for Microsoft's core business applications and virtual environments on Azure and VMware.
- Support services for Microsoft-related technologies, including Windows Server, Office 365, and SharePoint, as well as virtualization technologies on VMware and Azure.
- Implement and support remote access solutions like VPN and Microsoft Intune.
- Maintain remote monitoring and management systems and computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical services and support for WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
- Improve customer satisfaction through effective communication, escalation of unresolved issues, and teamwork.
- Document internal processes and procedures and track time and expenses in ConnectWise.
- Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Professional IT certifications such as Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, Azure Administrator Associate, SonicWall CSSA, Cisco CCNA, or VMware VCP.
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and telephony skills.
- Diagnosis of hardware and software related issues.
- Multitasking and adaptability.
- Technical awareness and ability to match resources to technical issues appropriately.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
- Typing skills for quick and accurate service request details entry.
- Experience with ITGlue, CyberCNS, Vijilan, and Connectwise Automate is a plus.
